How to use this tool
- 1
Add a file
Drop an MP3, WAV, or OGG onto the box, or click it to pick a file. Nothing leaves this device. Keep the file under 40 MB.
- 2
Pick a look
Choose waveform, frequency bars, or circular. Set colour, background, bar size, animation speed, and 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1.
- 3
Preview
Press Play to hear the file and watch the canvas in real time. Seek with the slider. Pause stops both sound and motion.
- 4
Export WebM
Export WebM records the canvas with audio from the start. It runs in real time, so a 20-second clip takes about 20 seconds. Wait for the progress bar, then the file downloads. Stop export cancels and saves no file.
What each control does
- Drop zone — pick or replace the file. MP3, WAV, OGG under 40 MB.
- Waveform / Frequency bars / Circular — three draw styles on the same canvas.
- Aspect — 16:9 landscape, 9:16 vertical, or 1:1 square.
- Colour / Background — the colour of the line, bars, or spokes, and the solid colour behind them.
- Bar size — thickness of bars or the waveform stroke.
- Animation speed — higher reacts faster; lower moves more smoothly.
- Play — live preview with sound.
- Export WebM — records canvas plus audio from the start. Some browsers can't record video; preview still works there.
Quick questions
Does my audio upload to a server?
No. The file is read in this tab. Preview and WebM export both run on your device.
Which files can I visualise?
MP3 and WAV work in current browsers. OGG plays only where the browser can decode it. If it won't open, convert it to MP3 or WAV.
What video do I get?
A WebM file with the visualisation and the original audio, recorded with Canvas and MediaRecorder in this tab.
Why is Export WebM disabled?
The browser must support MediaRecorder with WebM. Some browsers don't. Preview still works.
