Quick questions
Does my audio upload to a server?
No. The file is read in this tab. Trim, preview, and download all happen on your device.
Which files can I trim?
MP3 and WAV work in current browsers. OGG plays only where the browser can decode it, and some browsers can't. If an OGG file won't open, convert it to MP3 or WAV.
What do I download?
WAV for an uncompressed clip, MP3 for a smaller file. Both are encoded here, not on a server.
How precise is the trim?
Drag the highlighted region on the waveform, or type start and end in seconds to two decimal places. The clip cannot be shorter than 0.05 seconds.
